Being Original
Being Original "When you cannot be in the same way as others want, you will be the one that they hate." is a quote by writer George Eliot. I think it is a great quote to describe our society. A lot of people only like to have like people who agrees with everything they say. They don't like to hear another opinion and they aren't open for criticism. They are narrow minded and arrogant. For example think about Galileo. When he supported the Copernican Theory, the Catholic Church judged him and he was put into house arrest. But now, everyone knows he was right. So even if you are going to be the one who is hated, don't be afraid to put out your own ideas. Eventually, you will be in a better place than the people that hate you. Because an original person is always one step ahead than an ordinary one. Onat
